It’s not every day that you meet two people so perfect for each other as Lindsay and Patrick. I actually used to work with Lindsey, so I was really excited when they asked me to be a part of their special day. I hadn’t met Patrick yet, but when I showed up, I knew immediately that these two were meant to be. Their wedding was held at the Mile High Station in Downtown Denver, and it was an absolutely beautiful venue for the day.  I  want to send out a huge thank you to Lindsay and Patrick for an awesome night of shooting, and for letting me be a part of their day!

Talk about an amazing day! I was invited at the last minute to shooting Justin and Saskia’s wedding on Catalina Island, and I of course jumped at the chance! How could I pass up shoot a wedding at such a beautiful location!? And truly, it was one the the sweetest, most perfect weddings I’ve had the pleasure of being a part of. Every second of it was such a joy….including the boat ride to the island, the ceremony, the gorgeous island itself, the sunshine, the ocean….it was perfect. I think I’ve decided that when I get married, I want something very close to this. Small, intimate, a wedding about the bride and groom and their love for each other, and nothing else. So perfect and sweet in every way! These photos are a clear example of two people so in love, and so perfect for one another. Congrats to Justin and Saskia!

I could honestly go on about how awesome this day was, but I know people really just want to see the pretty photos, so onto them we go!!

The beautiful harbor on the lake, the couple that has been together since high school, the aunt that made a beautiful cake by hand, the gorgeous pink bridesmaids dresses, the father that traveled far to be there, the best friend that cried while giving her speech, and the smiles and hospitality of every family member and guest, the instant welcome and friendship of angela and mike…these are just a few of the many things that leave us with warm, fuzzy feelings whenever I look back on the wedding of Julie + Larry Breceda. Congrats you two!
