Every once in a while, my clients will commission me to do portrait shots of themselves to mark a certain point in their life. I don’t always post those photos because they are typically very personal to the owners, but this series, I just couldn’t resist! Meet Dawn, a successful business woman who wanted to mark her life transition into the 40′s. A woman who is so full of positive energy, you just can’t help but smile around her! She broke her typically “tomboy” persona for a bit, and got a little girly for the camera and then we went back to her comfort zone… where you can really see her shine. It’s not very often that I shoot a couple “after” they’ve already been married, but this lovely couple wanted some shots before they began their beautiful family.  It’s a short set of photos, but I enjoyed playing in the sunshine with these two!

After almost a year of wanting to work with the popular Alternative Model, Kelly Eden – we FINALLY made it happen. Unfortunately due to circumstances out of anyone’s control, the shoot wasn’t done where I wanted, but in all reality, you can’t take a bad photo of this beautiful girl, so we made do with what we had.  She’s a fantastic model to work with and I feel quite lucky that she chose to work with me! I don’t think anyone out there rocks pink hair quite like Kelly. Enjoy!
