The Walker family and I endured a couple of hours of blowing sand, cold winds, and beautiful lighting to achieve all of these lovely photos! Everyone was such a trooper and we were literally dodging sand from blowing in our eyes on this windy day, but it was all well worth it. The Walker’s are expecting their first baby in March, while April’s sister Paige just had her daughter 4 months ago! It was an absolute pleasure meeting such a lovely family and sharing the afternoon with them!

Ok, I have to be honest. I think I fell in love with a place today. This place. The entire area around the observatory is beautiful, from the park, to the hills, the hiking trails, and then my favorite part, was of course the sunset. I’m a sucker for sunsets. Every single one fascinates me and I love them, and I couldn’t even really tell you why. Maybe the way I feel, or maybe it’s the turning into a new day, a new time. It’s like watching a new beginning happen before your eyes.  Or maybe I’m a hopeless romantic. Which is probably really where it stems from lol. But this sunset was spectacular. Such a clear day in Los Angeles, I was able to capture the smog in all it’s gross, and beautiful glory as the sun dropped into the sea. WHO WANTS TO DO AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION HERE!? I’m hoping a couple does soon. I’m so excited to shoot a couple here!
